Hello, I am new to this list and wondered if anyone out there could help me with information about my ancestors. 1. Morris NICHOLAS, born c. 1789, married Elizabeth VAUGHAN in Maenchlochog in 1821. Morris also married Mary DAVIES in 1836. 2. Elizabeth VAUGHAN, died c. 1834, was the daughter of William VAUGHAN and Mary THOMAS and was the youngest of 11 children. 3. Mary THOMAS was the daughter of Henry THOMAS and Ann ? and was the eldest of seven children. 4. James NICHOLAS (son of Morris and Elizabeth) married Mary WILLIAMS (daughter of David WILLIAMS) in Cardiff in 1848 - Mary was born in St. Dogmaels or St. Dogwells (is this a misspelling or are there two places with these names?). After Mary died James then married Ann WILLIAMS (sister, cousin?) also from St. Dogmaels or St. Dogwells. I have 1851 census onwards for James and his family in Cardiff..
