Dear Jan and Bill, The marriage of David William and Martha Evan took place at St. Dogmaels 07/11/1823. She does not have the "es" added to her name in the marriage index. I could not find a marriage of an Evan or Evans to a Martha at St. Dogmaels in the pre 1813 marriages, so she could have married in another parish. Bill may have other information. I have an interest in earlier Evan/s in St, Dogmaels.,,,,but it is another of the common surnames. Bettye Kirkwood.
