    3. Thankyou Bill for the info re St. Dogmellsl/Dogwells. Don't have much information but what I do have follows: > Was Mary or Ann's age given? > The 1851 Census information I have (Cardiff) lists Mary as 25 years, and Ann (living at same address) as 19 years, both born in St. Dogmaels. This leads me to believe Ann and Mary were related. By the 1861 Census Mary had died and Ann had married James NICHOLAS, the widower. >What was David Williams' occupation? > Apparently he was a Mason. > Who was Ann's father? > > Don't know. > >I have the 1841 census for St Dogmaels and it contains 40 Mary Williams, >some 10 of whom were of marriageable age by 1848. However, you need to >establish whether you are looking in St Dogmells or St Dogwells. > > Do you have an Ann Williams listed with Mary Williams with father David, a Mason? Ann would have been about 9 and Mary 15. Would you mind also looking up Morris NICHOLAS for me in the 1841 Census. I have him as being born around 1789 (52ish in the 1841 census) and profession as Mason. He married a Mary DAVIES in 1836 in Morfil, Pembrokeshire. Any further help would be very much appreciated. Regards, Jan Shaw.
