Hello, I am trying to search for my Hall-Tucker & Roberts ancestors that came from Stackpole Elidor, St Petrox & St Mary Pembroke, their names were Ann Hall & John Tucker they were married 1/1/1825 they had at least three children James Tucker born 27/3/1825, Mary Tucker 8/4/1827 & a George Tucker 11/9/1831, Mary went on to marry a James Roberts from Fownhope, Hereford he was in the 36th foot Regiment ( I would also like to know about this regiment too, as they were stationed in Pembroke about 1852 ) there they had six children their names were Ellen, William Henry, James, Emma, John & a Herbert Roberts, they were living at Military Road in 1871. Dear Rhiannon, I had a quick look at the marriage index for Castlemartin Hundred and, in view of the fact that John Tucker of St. Twynnells and his wife Ann Hall who married at Stackpole Elidor named their first child James, I wonder if the James Hall who married at Stackpole Elidor in 1802 was her father. Unfortunately I don't have the names of the brides, only the grooms, but Haverfordwest Records Office could give you the bride's name, provide a copy of the parish register entry, and possibly tell you if Ann was baptised to a father named James Hall. An Aaron Tucker married at Pemb. St. Michael in 1799 and a George Tucker married in 1798 at Lamphey......but none around that time in St. Twynnells.
