Hello Sheila If I understand you correctly - you are asking for a lookup of possible children of Thomas & Sophia who have already left home by the 1841 census. That is not very easy as there are so many with surname JOHN in the area. As Thomas & Sophia are both from LLanboidy then the first child at least could very well have been born in Llanboidy. The people in that area (of which I have quite a few) move around quite abit - and birthplaces are often different in different census - so the best way to find other children would be in parish registers. Is that where you linked benjamin to Thomas and Sophia rather than any of the other Thomas Johns in the area? However you didn't say whether you already had Thomas & Sophia and family in 1841 and 1851 - so I have added those entries for you to see. Presumably Benjamin married Margaret Davies - was there a link with either of the Davies families that Sophia and Benjamin are in in 1851?
