Hello everyone, New to this list and I am wondering if anyone has information regarding the Williams family of Vaenor. After some months of trying to prove a family story that we were descended from Sir Trevor Williams of Llangibby Monmouthshire, it seems we are actually descended from the Williams family of Vaenor, according to information I have been given from Sir Joseph Bradney's A history of Monmouthshire Hundred of Caldicott. I notice in Bradneys book The Hundred of Usk, that I have, that Sir Trevor Williams had an Uncle William Williams but his tree is not carried forward so there may still be some truth in the story yet.
