It hasn't been too many years when LDS wanted to film the actual certificates starting 1 July 1837 which would have been a boom to researchers. London got in the act and said no, it had to start with the present time and work backwards and we know, as with any government agency, no matter where in the world, it would have taken years. I understand that Parliament got in the act and said no to the LDS. Keep us posted.
