Hello Carol. My grandfather was a DAVIES, he was born in Llanrhystyd CGN, his name was Richard Morgan DAVIES born 1882, parents were Richard born 1845 and Elizabeth born 1846, his siblings were Mary Ann born 1872, Jane born 1876 she married John PRICE, and Elizabeth born 1879 who married John Richard JENKINS, he was killed in Ferndale pit then she married Evan EDWARDS who became the mayor of the Rhondda in the 1950's.
