My ggrandfather was JOHN JONES B. @ 1827 in Llandyssul. son of Thomas Jones, married ANNE DAVIES B. @ 1828 in Llandyssul, daughter of Evan Davies, on Dec.20, 1848. Jones residence was Prengwyn, Davies residence was Pencarnicket. They had a child named Evan Jones, and then came to the US in 1849 as they had a child in Pittsburgh in Sept. 1849.
