Julie Preston reminded me that I had not given enough details, of my Williams. Yet another Senior Moment! On the 1841 census Hannah Williams aged 60 Inn Keeper not born in county Mary " 30 Margaret 28 Hannah 15 Evan Jones 1 year all born LLandysul 1851 Hannah Williams wid 68 Inn Keeper not born in county Margaret Jones wid 40 Hannah Jones mar 28 Shopkeepers wife David Williams son 24 Inn Servant Evan Jones Grandson 13 scholar Evan Jones " 1year Evan Williams died 1837 aged 72 born approx 1765 Hanna " died 1861 aged 83 " " 1778 When Hannah died, in attendance was a John Jones and she died at Penybent. ? a shop Sarah Williams their daughter married in Llandysul 1840 have cert for this. Her husband Thomas Jenkins was an excise office in Tregaron, and he was found drowned in 1850 she then moved back to Llandysul with her two sons and lived at 9 Lincoln St. I know what happened to these. As she gave her birth date as 1813 on one census and 1816 on another, I have been unable to find her certificate and therefore find her mothers surname. David Williams in 1881 could have been at the Red Lion LLandysul, and had a family there, giving his birth as 1824 a birth cert would again prove his parents. There is a David Wms b 1824 Horeb, Parents Evan Williams and Anna Evans. could this be Hannah? I have found two marriages Evan Wms m Hannah Jones 1813 Penderyn Evan Wms m Anne Jones 1811 LLanbadamfawr. There are some Evan Jones on the 1901 census which could be my lot, but you can make anything fit, and it is not necessarily correct. I am sure there must be some descendant still about, but with names like these!!!!! Sorry this is so long winded. The key has to be Sarah & Davids birth. I hope someone else is researching these, it would be nice to have a fellow researcher. Valerie
