Please can anyone help with a placename? On the 1843 marriage certificate of my 3xggrandfather his residence is very difficult to read. There are four words: Ty y?? yn (or yr) helyg. They were married at the parish church of Llanbadarn Fawr and the address of his wife was Great Dark Gate St, Abderystwyth. I have had no luck with the 1841 census or any maps. Is it possible it was the name of a farm or house as his occupation was labourer? Thank for any suggestions, Julie
