    3. Hi Julie, Do I take it that both bride and groom were "of this parish", so that "Tyy??yn (or yr) helyg" is, presumably, somewhere in the parish of Llanbadarn Fawr? Julie Preston [email protected] ----- Original Message ----- From: "Julie Seddon" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, February 18, 2001 1:41 PM Subject: [WLS-CARDIGANSHIRE] help with placename > Please can anyone help with a placename? On the 1843 marriage certificate of my 3xggrandfather his residence is very difficult to read. There are four words: Ty y?? yn (or yr) helyg. They were married at the parish church of Llanbadarn Fawr and the address of his wife was Great Dark Gate St, Abderystwyth. I have had no luck with the 1841 census or any maps. Is it possible it was the name of a farm or house as his occupation was labourer? > Thank for any suggestions, > > Julie > >
