I'm looking for information on the families of Daniel Griffith and Sarah Williams, found the following bio: OLD SOLDIERS WHO HAVE LIVED IN O'BRIEN COUNTY, IA Compiled by Geo W. Schee and O.H. Montzheimer 1909, Primghar, IA Griffith, Daniel. Born June 21, 1829, at Cardiganshire, South Wales. Married Sarah Williams, of his home town, November 17, 1849; children: Anna, Isaac, David, George, Mathew and Mary. Enlisted January 28, 1865, at Lancaster, Wis., Company K, Forty-seventh Infantry. Suffered from chronic bowel trouble incurred while in service; discharged July 22, 1865, at Nashville, Tenn. Settled in O'Brien County, northeast 1/4 section 8, Center Township, in 1870. Died February 18, 1898, at Lancaster, Wis. Member Congregational Church. >From their death certificates it lists Daniel's parents as Isaac & Elinor Griffith and Sarah's parents as John & Anne Williams. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
