    3. Could I ask someone with access to the 1861 or 1871 census of Caron / Ysbyty Ystwyth to have a look for a John Jones for me? A big task I know, but I can narrow it down quite a bit. His parents were Thomas and Anne. Their address in the 1881 census is Pensettings, Ysbyty Ystwyth. I assume, due to their ages, they are unlikely to have moved in their latter years. I have narrowed down John year of birth to between 1839 and 1850. He had three children, born 1875, 1876 and 1878, but his wife was widowed by the time of the 1881 census, so I am assuing that he married about 1872-1874. Hence he would have been single in the 1871 census. Failing this, I would appreciate confirmation of the household of Pensettings in 1861 / 1871. thanks in advance --  Dewi Evans http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~dewievans/index.html ______________________________________________________________________________ Erdbeben im Iran: Zehntausende Kinder brauchen Hilfe.
