Thanks to all for replying so quickly. The reason I asked about Baptism Fiches is because in Suffolk the FHS does a marriage index but the Suffolk Record Office sells copies of BMD fiches from the Suffolk area and I was hoping that may be Cardiganshire Record Office did the same. Which would mean that I could search from home. I have been to the Llanbadarn Fawr website and thought maybe John and Margaret ROBERTS were David's mum & dad but the write up in the 'more about' section doesnt mention David as one of his children. Thank for all the links I have put them in my favourites. I have visited the Look up Exchange but because I have not got much info and not too sure where or how big Ll/Fawr is I wont ask because it seems I might be asking for a miracle. Another clue I might have is my great uncle Bills second name was Killin and if they are like my hubbys ancestors some of them used a maiden name of a mum or nan for their kids.
