I am a gggrandaughter of David James who, I am told, called himself Sir Thomas of Baradohun. He and his wife, Jane Jones James, had 12 children, one of whom was my ggrandfather, Evan Hugh James, born in 1838 in Aberystwyth. Another child, Catherine Ann James was also born in Aberystwyth in 1842. This may mean that the parents were also born there. Can anyone enlighten me about the title, Sir Thomas of Baradohun?
