Brian, It's very likely that the pub is still standing, but probably not as a pub. When Aberaeron (notice spelling!) was a thriving little port with a deal of ship building going on in the locality including Aberarth, most of the houses around the harbour were pubs. This meant that there were literally dozens of them, as the trade disappeared, likewise the pubs. We are now down to a measly eleven! Regards, Steve.
