Hello, I have an ancestor (Thomas George) who, on various censuses, mariner's certificate, etc. is listed as being born (1811) in Milford, Llangwm and Haverfordwest. In the meantime, I have a great deal of Jackson and Gallia County information, and if I can be of help, please let me know. All of my Welsh ancestors settled in the Oak Hill area and I still visit family there about once a year. My father is buried there, too. Many thanks to Jenni for the hours of work she put into translating the Nantcwnlle parish history. My family connection in this parish are my ggg grandparents, Moses Morgan/s and his wife, Elizabeth Evans, who were from Pen y Gaer. (Family tradition says Moses was born about 1779-1785). The history gives us a feel for how our family may have lived. I find the Welsh language very intimidating and the only phrase that has come down to my generation is "te bach"! Some individuals are linked into families and can be displayed on family groups and pedigree charts. The number of linked individuals is relatively small but is expected to grow significantly in the future. You can also download family group records and pedigree charts. * Additional event information. All events that were in original user submissions are now displayed and can be used as search criteria. * Improved searching. You can now search the index by given name, surname and state, and more types of events, even across regions. The processes used to find individuals in spite of spelling and other differences in the name have also been improved. * Information to describe the source.
