On the Conwy Archives website since yesterday is a record of the names of those commemmorated on war memorials in Llandudno and surrounding area, including on memorial stones inside buildings, such as chapels and the fire station. The data was originally compiled by local volunteers on behalf of the National Inventory of War Memorials and includes serving officers as well as those killed in the First and Second World Wars and the Boer War. http://www.conwy.gov.uk/drwar.asp?cat=2435&doc=2710 Further local history material is due soon on the site.
