Good morning Listers, My name is Richard Parsons and I am looking for assistance with the research of my Wife’s Family in the above area ie Port Dinorwic. John O’ROURKE, my wife’s grandfather, was a merchant seaman but in 1913 he had a job as “Boiler cleaner in Foundry”. This must have been an occupation he had between trips (?). What I would like to know is can anyone enlighten me as to what foundry/ies would have been in the vicinity of Port Dinorwic at that time please?
