    3. Dear Listers I found on the LDS site that my 3rd great grandfather Thomas Hughes and Jane Williams were married 21 Nov 1815 at the Church of Saint Peblig in Llanbeblig. That is as much info as I have been able to get on them. I don't have either of their parent's names or where they lived. Their children appear to have been born in Capel Curig Hamlet. Their first child was born in 1813 (Margaret), David 1815, Thomas 1817, William 1819, Griffith 1826 (my connection). Is it possible for anyone to point me in the correct direction to get more info on this couple. Thanks and kind regards Lee Cousins Borehamwood Hertfordshire _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself with cool new emoticons http://www.msn.co.uk/specials/myemo

    3. Parish registers might give you some further information. You know the church, you now need to go through the parish register, it might give you their parents name and witnesses of the wedding. You have to pay for information from the Hayes Marriage Index, and from the Public Records Office in London, but it might give you some information. You could pay for a search by the PRO. I've done it and found it worth it. Not always the case though. Try searching their site. See if the LDS has micro fiche of the parish register that you could order and view at a nearby Family Center. I'd start here, as it's the cheapest and easiest way to go. They had the info on them so they probably have the parish register available on micro fiche. Hopefully, others can add to this.
