I am called Bill, though I was never William. I live near Cambridge, England, and started my research a few years ago when I retired. I have a number of lines from North and SW Wales. Here are the difficult Jones and Williams families. Henry JONES was a tailor & draper in Bangor, CAE. He was born about 1799 in Llanfairpg in Anglesey and died 1866 in Bangor. Henry's first wife was Ann (possibly the Ann OWEN who married a Henry JONES in Llanfairpg on 30 Nov 1821). She died about 1830. Their eldest son was Cadwaladr JONES (1823-1900), in adult life schoolmaster, parish clerk and Sacrist at the Cathedral. Henry's second wife was Ann(e) WILLIAMS, born about 1813 in Llangaffo or Aberffraw, Anglesey, depending which census you look at. She died in 1891. They married in 1833 at Bangor Cathedral. Ann may well have been the daughter of Edward and Mary, baptised 9 Oct 1814 at Aberffraw, Talar Rodio CM Chapel. Henry & Ann had 7 children at least. I know only the fate of their eldest son John (1838-1883), my ancestor. I am interested in anything anyone knows about the family of the above. Regards Bill G-J
