Son of John THOMAS (1820-1839) and Elizabeth WILLIAMS (1815-1880) In 1866 Robert married Sarah JONES (1845-1917) of Llandwrog. Sarah was the daughter Ellis JONES (1816-aft 1888) and Sarah GRIFFITH (1813-1864). Robert and Sarah had ten children and lived at Gardd-yr-afon and Gilfach in Clynnog. John THOMAS (1820-1839) of Llanystumdwy. Son of Thomas PARRY (1784-1856) and Elizabeth JONES (abt 1781-1840). In 1838 Thomas married Elizabeth WILLIAMS (1815-1880) of Abererch. Elizabeth was the daughter of Robert WILLIAMS (abt 1788-1873 and Catherine WILLIAMS (1797-1874). John and Elizabeth had one son (Robert Jones, above). After John died, Elizabeth married William DAVIES and had four children (surname DAVIES and ROBERTS). Lived at Ty'n-y-mynydd and Fron-olau, Carnguwch. Robert WILLIAMS (abt 1788-1873) of Llannor. (parents unknown). In 1814 married Catherine WILLIAMS (1797-1874) of Carnguwch. Catherine daughter of William JONES (abt 1772-1829) and Anne JONES (abt 1779-1838). Robert and Catherine had at least four children (surname WILLIAMS) and lived at the farm of Tyddyn Cestyll, Abererch and Brynmarchog, Llannor.
