Grace Evans had a brother William Roberts living there also, so it seems that she was a Roberts who married an Evans. I cannot tell from the death certificate if this is my Robert. 1875 Mariana/Marriana (who had a child Margaret Elizabeth Roberts on July 11, 1895, father shown as William Roberts, labourer, but no marriage has been found.) In 1901, Margaret Elizabeth, 5, was with her grandmother (my gggrandmother, Elizabeth Roberts) I FOUND MARIANA IN 1901 BELOW. She married John Wynne. 1879 Jane Elizabeth (my grandmother). Jane, my grandmother, married Arthur Newhall in Manchester in 1897, had my mother Olivia Dorothy in November of 1897 in Preston. They lived in Manchester and Llandudno both for a time, emigrated to Toronto, Canada, then to Baltimore and Wilmington, then to Philadelphia, where they settled for the rest of their lives and where I was born. In 1901 they were living in Harpurhey??, parish of St. Stephens, Borough of Manchester. Can’t read the name of the street on the census Xerox. I have cert. 1901 Census Shows John Wynne, H, 23, Bricklayer, born Denbigh, Llansantffraid and Marianne Wynne, Wife, 24, born Llandudno, living at 2 Pant-y-Wennol. I don’t think they stayed here long because in Ken Dibble’s book on Pant-y-Wennol there was someone of another name living there in 1903. BUT WHY WAS HER DAUGHTER LIVING WITH HER MOTHER? 1901 Census shows Elizabeth Roberts, Widow, 70, Laundress, living in Tanrallt Cottage with granddaughter, Margaret Elizabeth Roberts, age 5 and Thomas Roberts, Lodger, single 30, Gardener born Denbigh, Abergele.
