Hi, Regarding your request to trace Robert Roberts on the 1841 Census. I should point out one is unable to trace the parish of birth of an individual as in succeeding Census Returns. There are rather two options under the heading WHERE BORN. The first is WHETHER BORN IN SAME COUNTY to which the initial Y for Yes or N for No is given in answer and the second WHETHER BORN IN SCOTLAND, IRELAND OR FOREIGN PARTS. You will, therefore, see how difficult it is to find the answer to your request. It would mean going through 3 Micro Fiche for Bangor, HO 107 138 (1) (2) and (3) which could take the best part of a day and even then there would be no guarantee that the person you seek is found. Under the circumstances it may be worth your while to order copies of the 3 Fiche in question.
