From: Berwyn Lloyd Williams, Westhill, Aberdeenshire My Lloyd family moved down the Conway valley in the 19th C starting (in my records) with JOHN LLOYD (Eidda & Penmachno) and GWEN DAVIES(Ysbyty Ifan). Their son JOHN LLOYD married MARGARET OWEN ROBERTS in 1850 in Bettws y Coed. She was the daughter of Owen Roberts of Pen yr Allt Isaf. They moved to Llanrwst where they lived in Scotland Street and Back Watling street. Their son OWEN LLOYD married MARGARET EVANS in 1880 in Llanrwst. Her father WILLIAM EVANS was a sawyer born in Llanbedr (Llanbedr y Cenin?) in 1806 and her mother was ELIZABETH from Capel Garmon. OWEN and his family moved to Bangor in the 1890's living in Cae Llepo and Pen Chwintan Terrace. As far as I know his son Frederick is the only child that stayed in Bangor, living in Glanadda until 1968. Future research: 1. The parents of Gwen Davies and John Lloyd 2.
