    3. Hi Wendy, I have had a few problems getting onto Old-Maps. Yesterday I succeeded and I found Llandudno 1895 and I think I have located Min y Don. It is a little indistinct but looks like Mynyddon. Kind regards, Roger I have transcribed for FreeCen. http://www.freecen.org.uk From: Wendy Jones [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 09 August 2004 22:14 There is a street/area in Llandudno called Min y Don. I know because I used to visit my Great Aunt Bettie there in the 60's with my father. Sorry I can't give exact location but it would show up on a map. Best wishes, Wendy

    3. Roger, Please be careful with the word MYNYDDON which you state in indistinct. Although there is no such Welsh word, MYNYDD means MOUNTAIN plural MYNYDDAU and MYNYDDOG means Mountainous. This is a case where knowledge of the Welsh language is of help. With regard to Min y Don, sometimes it may be written Min-y-Don, but it would never be written MYN....
