Hi Martin, Try http://local.live.com/ and navigate with the + sign and aerial photos to North Wales, Caernarfon and follow the Bangor road and you will see the old Ferrodo factory quite clearly and next to that towards Bangor is the Griffith's Crossing Industrial Estate. If you zoom in close enough you will see circular grassy areas within the estate. Could these have been your wartime underground storage tanks? Arfor (Criccieth, North Wales)

    3. Thanks, yes that looks like their footprints. There was a pipe from Caernarfon to there apparently.
