Thanks to everyone for the information and advice. A few months ago I received lots of help from this list regarding the family in Dolwyddelan I am researching. They lived at Coetmor (sometimes written as Coytmor). Our direct line is through David Owen, born in 1797. He immigrated to Wisconsin, US in 1848. His parents were Owen Morris or Maurice (died 1809) and Margaret Jones. Owen Morris' parents were Maurice ap Robert (died 1787) and Jane. Maurice ap Robert's parents were Robert Cadwalader (1739) and Margery Maurice. It appears that the house is known better for the descendants of Maurice ap Robert's brother, Cadwalader Roberts (died 1772). The names Cadwalader, Robert and Owen appear often through the generations as both given names and surnames. I have looked through the microfilmed parish records from Salt Lake City and have the census records. Does anyone know if Coetmor is still standing? I would really love to see it. I have a historical map of the area, so I have a rough idea of where the home would be, but no up-to-date map yet.
