Hello Listers a month or so ago I the asked for help finding the Birth reg. of my 3xGreat Grandmother, Bennett (there are various spellings depending on which census) born in Penmynedd or Llanfair P.G. 1811/12. Angharad sent me the following entry from the Penmynedd Baptism Reg. of 1811.(Anglesey) Benet dau.of John Griffith, Creigar and Jane his wife, December 25th. We are both hopeful this could be her. Angharad looked for a link to other siblings with no luck unfortunately and if I remember correctly she couldn't find a reference to a Marriage either, at least not in Penmynedd. Does it look familiar to anyone, please. ? Could she be 'my' Bennett who married John Ellis (or Ellis Jones as he was sometimes referred to) a Stonecutter from Llandeiniolen c1840. They lived at 'Parc' Llandeiniolen where my 2 x Greatgrandfather John Ellis Jones was born. (Elidirfab the Poet) Thank you Lynn (Shropshire)
