Hi Cherie "Ty I D Refailnewydd" only makes sense when you see the image of the census record! I was looking at the 51 census for my own research today, so I thought that whilst I was there I would grab a quick look for you. The "I D" has been transcribed incorrectly - it actually reads "J Dl" - look at the other surrounding households at Refailnewydd and they are all noted the same way by the enumerators - meaning that at "the house of Jane Daniel at the New Smithy " lived Jane Daniel and Frances her daughter. All the other households, and there are about a dozen or so, have the initials of the heads of the household too! This "Tisking Parcel Mawr" still reads as that, I cant make it read anything else! But it is in the parish of Llannor. I hope this of some help to you. Jude
Hi Jude, Thanks for looking and resolving the address - why didn't I see that they were initials of the householder!! Feel such a fool. Thanks again.
