    3. As a general rule Rootsweb Mailing Lists do not help people looking for other living people or for people who do not appear in your own family tree. Have you tried: http://www.forcesreunited.org.uk/ You have to pay a fiver to join, but I am told that many of those who have done so have found many an old buddy. My father has made contact with a few old National Service mates through this site and swears by it. Having tried other services provided by the same company I have some major reservations. But who am I to argue against my Dad and his old comrades in arms? Its up to you to decide if it's worth a fiver to try them or not! Bill (Taffy) Lloyd, Leading Aircraftsman, RAF. During 1942, 43 and 44 Bill served with me at #34SFTS Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. When we were posted back home in '44 I lost track of Bill. I'm afraid it's not a lot to go on but I'm afraid it's all I have. I do have some pictures of him so if anybody would like copies I would be happy to send a few by e-mail. They would be JPG files so any program should open them. Owen Leslie Lawrence Clarke. I have put my full name because while in the Hat I was known by my second name Leslie. The local lads we met the first night out in1941 didn't think much of Owen, so I gave them a choice. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
