My Taid was THOMAS OWEN HUGHES born 1915 in Cloth Hall, Llanllyfni Road, Talysarn. His Father was OWEN HUMPHREY HUGHES born c1887 in Llandwrog. When he married my Taid's mother MARY CORWENNA JONES, he was a widower. They married 13th November 1913. I think I have found his first marriage in 1906 to an ANNIE ROBERTS in Caernarfon. Can anyone confirm this for me please? Owen's family were: Father: HUMPHREY HUGHES born c1861 in Llanestyn, Mother: CATHERINE OWENS born c 1863 in Llanystwmdwy, and his siblings were JANE born c1883 in Llanllyfni, HUGH born c1885 in Llanllyfni, MARGARET born c1890 in Llandwrog, ELLEN born c1898 in Llandwrog and THOMAS born c1900 in Llandwrog. I have the family on the 1891 and 1901 Census living in Llandwrog. I think there may be a couple more children between 1890 and 1900, and would love to find them. Also, are there any Parish Registers available to buy for the Llandwrog, Talysarn and Penygroes areas? Paper or fiche, as I have a hand-held fiche reader.
