David White managed Bangor's gas works 1878 to 1883. His son, Price Foulkes White (1874-1952) installed Bangor's electricity generating plant in 1900 which he managed until his retirement in 1940. He was also in charge of the gas works from 1906. He was a keen sportsman and played soccer for Tottenham Hotspur, Sheffield United and Leicester City and was selected to play for Wales. His son, [David?] Price White was a Bangor solicitor and for a brief period was an MP, but I think he left Parliament under a bit of a cloud.
