LLANWYAN is not in the Old County of Gwynedd and appears to be a misspelling. LLANGWYFAN is near the town of Denbigh and LLANWYN I believe is in South Wales. Have you considered LLANDDWYN, which is on the South Easterly tip of Anglesey? At one time in the 19th century, it was where the Caernarfon Life Boat and the Menai Strait Pilots were stationed.
