DEAN, 56, formerly of Pittsville, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2001 at Marshfield. Sylvia was born October 6, 1945 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Margo (LANCASTER) and Paul DEAN. She was employed as a secretary for Boeing Aircraft in Seattle, Washington for many years. She retired in 1991 due to disability and lived in Pittsville from 1994 until August 2001, when she moved to Marshfield. Sylvia is survived by one son, Jerry Dean JOHNSON; one grandson, Chad JOHNSON; one brother, Tony (Judy) SALANTIRO of Marshfield; two sisters, Sandy (Terry) MINOR and Sally (Charles) STROMBERG; and one aunt, Juanita BELL. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robin and Mike; and her parents. Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 16, 2001 at Buchanan Funeral Home, Pittsville, with Rev. Nancy Carr officiating. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Pittsville.
