R/S MAK +++++ I am looking for birth records of my great-grand-father, Alfred (Fred) Ward Robberts/Roberts' siblings. Fred was born 30 Dec. 1866 to Russell and Helen (nee?) Robberts in Centralia. I believe that this is now Wisconsin Rapids, and may have been a part of Portage county at some point in time, but not sure when. I am the librarian for our local genealogy society, the Gogebic Range Genealogy Society. We maintain a web site, http://gogebicroots.org/ which is in the beginning stages, as the society formed just over a year ago. We cover local info. for Hurley, WI, as well as Gogebic County in MI. Any information that you can give me in guiding my search for the Robberts/Roberts family: birth, death, marriage, census, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
