PETERS, 55, of Pittsville, died Tuesday October 16, 2001 at Marshfield. Diane was born September 27, 1946 in Marshfield to Frederick B. and Agnes S. (HENDRICKSON) STRIGEL. She attended St. Mary’s Parochial School in Auburndale and was a 1964 graduate of Auburndale High School. She married Donald R. PETERS Nov. 14, 1970 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Auburndale. Survivors include her husband; her daughter, Renee (Dennis) SWEERE and their daughter; her son James PETERS; her parents, Fred and Agnes STRIGEL; her brother and sisters, Eugene (Judy) STRIGEL, Ellen (Paul) KOLB and Delores (Gene) HUSER; and her mother-in-law, Veronica PETERS. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Fridolin PETERS. Funeral services were Friday at St. Joachim’s Catholic church with Rev. Samuel A. Martin officiating. Burial was in St. Joachim’s cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were: William PETERS, Russell PETERS, Michael PETERS, Mike HUSER, Mark KOLB and Scott STRIGEL. Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home served the family. The family requests memorials designated in her name be given to the Pittsville Fire Department for a Thermal Imaging Camera.
