A memorial service was held at 7pm Friday, December 15th at Pittsville Evangelical Free Church with the Rev Bruce NAUGLE officiating. Music was provided by pianist Michelle Rayburn and soloist, Cindy Ruchti. Randy was born March 8, 1959 in Wisconsin Rapids to Frank and Jeannine (DENNISTON) TRACHTE. He was educated at Pittsville Grade School and graduated in 1977 from Pittsville High School. he then attended Mid-State Technical College for auto body and painting. Randy was employed at Gleue Ford-Lincoln-Mercury in Wisconsin Rapids until 1991. For the past five years he was employed as a semi-driver for Miller Trucking of Wisconsin Rapids. Randy is survived by his parents, Frank and Jeannine TRACHTE of Arpin; two brothers, Scott (Cyndi) TRACHTE of Vero Beach, FL and Todd TRACHTE of Martinez, GA; three sisters, Susan BREY of Woodenville, WA, Cynthia (Larry) LINDQUIST of Littleton, CO and Tami TRACHTE of North Augusta, SC. He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Larry BREY. Buchanan Funeral Home, Pittsville, assisted the family with arrangements.
