Dear List, I don't know how this e-mail string originated, but you should be aware that McMillan Memorial Library will soon be putting up the entire text of Wood County Place Names (from which the below information, it appears, has been excerpted) on its website! We have secured an agreement with the book's publisher to do this, provided that we link to Univ. of Wisconsin Press' website, and that we acknowledge them as the originator of the material.
