Funeral services were held Tuesday at St Francis Catholic Church in Arpin. Rev Chester OSOWSKI officiated, Bonnie JOOSTEN was the soloist and Catherine STUTTGEN the organist. Burial was in St. Joachim's cemetery in Pittsville. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren served as pallbearers. Catherine ZIEHER was born November 28, 1908, in the Town of Wood to Frank and Amelia (HAUMSCHILD) DUPEE. She attended a county grade school and graduated from Pittsville High School in 1927. She married Herman C ZIEHER Apr 27, 1929, in Waukesha. The couple farmed in Arpin until 1955. She enjoyed crafting and making quilts. She was a life-long member of St. Francis Catholic Church. Catherine is survived by two sons, Russell (Phyllis) ZIEHER of Arpin and Robert (Gerianne) ZIEHER of Marshfield; four sisters, Lucy HOLSETH of Marshfield, Florence DUPEE of Pittsville, Emily MINOR of Pittsville and Dorothy WEST of Milwaukee; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Catherine was predeceased by her husband; three brothers, Dennis, Everett and LaVerne DUPEE; three sisters, Alma DAVID, Harriet HUBER and Mildred KIESLING; one daughter, Virginia ZIEHER who died in infancy; and one great-grandchild, Kelly JOHNSON.
