Funeral services were held Thursday June 15 at Zion United Methodist Church, Marshfield. Rev Lowell DAIVS Davis officiated and burial was in Mound Cemetery, Pittsville. Military rights were conducted by Palmer-Ritchie-Thomas Post 153 American Legion, Pittsville. Albert was born August 16, 1907 in Lorraine, OH to Louis and Mary (ZIMA) TRIPLAT. He was educated at Three Oaks School, Town of Richfield. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1927-1931 and was stationed in Nicaragua and Washington, D.C. Albert married Helen LEHNHERR May 17, 1941 at Zion United Methodist Church parsonage in Marshfield. They farmed in the Town of Richfield, retiring in 1980 and moved to their present home in 1982. Albert served on the school board as director and as treasurer for Three Oaks School. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church of Marshfield and a past member of the American Legion Post 153, Pittsville. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He is survived by his wife Helen of Pittsville; one daughter Penelope (Richard) SCHNEIDER of Upper Marlboro, MD; three sons, Tom J (Ingrid) TRIPLAT of New Castle, CO, Richard (Carol) TRIPLAT of Rudolph and Charles (Debra) TRIPLAT of Pittsville; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and two sisters Mary TRIPLAT of Pittsville and Esther BERDROW of Roseda California. Albert was preceded in death by two brothers, Louis and Adolph and one sister, Ella OSTERMAN. Buchanan Funeral Home, Pittsville, assisited the family with arrangements.
