Mr RATELLE was an old resident of Centralia, highly respected and a hard worker. He had reached the ripe age of sixty-five years. He was born in St Jacque, Canada, November 29th, 1828. He was married to Miss Josephine CHARIES July 25th, 1854 who survives him. He leaves beside his wife seven children who are all living, Mrs Steave CLEVELAND, of Stevens Point; Mrs W E FULLER and Mrs L A CHARBONEAU, of Milwaukee; Mrs A D BERRY of Wausau, Mrs G A CHASE, of Rhinelander; Mr C O RATELLE of Babcock and Mr C A RATELLE, of Centralia. He came to the state of Wisconsin in 1860 and settled in Wood Co. The funeral service took place Monday morning at the Catholic church.
