Wi Obits Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Wi/WoodObits/301 Surname: BEMENT, GLOVER, BEMENT, GLOVER, HALL, HALSTEAD, KREMBS, STOCKLEY ------------------------- Fred HALL Obit taken from the Stevens Point Daily Journal, Wednesday, January 22, 1919, Page 4 Fred HALL, 1889-1919 A telegram was received by Mrs A L HALSTEAD on Tuesday morning announcing the death of Fred HALL, former Stevens Point resident, which occurred on Monday at Miles City Montana. The deceased was a nephew of Mrs HALSTEAD, Frank and George STOCKLEY of this city. Mr HALL was a resident of Stevens Point practically all his life with the exception of the past several years. For a number of months prior to last March he had been employed in Chicago, going west in March and locating in Miles City. His health was not of the best then and he had been afflicted for some time past with tuberculosis. Although little hope was entertained for his complete recovery, it is probable the end came suddenly as it is known by local relatives that he was employed during a part of last week. The late Mr HALL was born in Altoona, WI, and was 30 years of age. He came to Stevens Point with his parents, Conductor and Mrs William P HALL, when a child. His father died in this city more than 20 years ago. The deceased was employed at various lines of work and for the past few years had resided in several cities, finally going west in an effort to regain his health. Surviving relatives include his mother, Mrs William P HALL, a resident of Miles City, and four sisters as follows: Miss Florence HALL and Mrs Harvey GLOVER, both of Miles City, and Mrs Ralph BEMENT and Mrs Lee KREMBS, both former Stevens Point women, who now reside in Tacoma, WA. The remains will be brought to Stevens Point for burial.
