SCHMUHL, died at the SCHMUHL farmstead north east of this city last Thursday, Sep 30, of dropsy. The funeral was held from the home and the burial took place at the Lutheran cemetery at Arpin October 3rd. Henriette SCHMUHL was born November 12, 1849 at Gross Pankow, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany and came to this country in 1869, settling first at Watertown, where she was married and from which place she removed with her husband to the farm in the Town of Hansen some years later. She leaves to mourn a husband and two children, William, who has been operating the farm for two years past, and Mrs Herman PETERS of Arpin.
