Wisconsin State Genealogical Society has been encouraging county societies to index their portion, and thus far, no effort has begun for Wood Co., though the two Wood Co societies are avidly indexing other resources. So, finding grandma Bruel will require searching Nekoosa and adjacent locales, page by page. Good thing isn't Milwaukee County, right? <grin> Joan M.
