OLESON, 1913-2000 Julia M OLESON, 87, formerly of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Saturday, Sep 30th at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids. Services were at Holy Rosary Catholic church, Sigel, with Reverends James BENZMILLER and Chester OSOWSKI officiating. Julia's 10 grandsons served as pallbearers, and her seven granddaughters did the readings and offertory at the Mass. Julia was born February 15, 1913, in the Town of Sigel, to Frank and Anna (KOBZA) MORZEWSKI, and she attended Lone Pine School in the Town of Sigel. Julia married Clarence OLESON June 30, 1931 in Wisconsin Rapids. He died April 17, 1981. In addition to working on the family farm, she was a homemaker and cooked for weddings for many years. She was an active member of Sunnyside Homemakers, Vesper Senior Citizens and Ladies Rosary Society at Holy Rosary Catholic church, where she was given the honor of "Our Women of Light". Survivors include her two sons, Wallace (Gerri) OLESON of Rudolph and Eugene (Shirley) OLESON of Vesper; her three daughters, Beverly (John) WOLF of Rudolph, and Janice (Richard) STEIDL and Donna (Francis) LIVERNASH, both of Wisconsin Rapids; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 23 step-great-grandchildren; and six step-great-great-grandchildren. Julia was pre-deceased by her husband (Clarence OLESON), her parents (Frank and Anna MORZEWSKI), her sister (Victoria KOLO), her two brothers (Michael and John MORZEWSKI) and her granddaughter, Brenda. The family was assisted by Higgins Funeral Home.
