Wi Obits Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Wi/WoodObits/303 Surname: HALDINGER, HUBER, MARX, STECHMEIER ------------------------- Mrs M H HUBER Obit taken from the Stevens Point Weekly Journal, Stevens Point WI, Saturday February 19, 1910 Mrs M H HUBER (nee STECHMEIER), 1841-1910 Mrs M H HUBER (nee STECHMEIER), an aged resident of the third ward, died at her home, 628 Jefferson Street, after a long illness with asthma, heart trouble and dropsy. The deceased, whose maiden name was Katherine STECHMEIER, was born in Austro-Hungary December 3, 1841, and was a little more than 68 years of age. She was married to Mr HUBER in her native land, but came to America in the early 1880's. She is survived by her husband and two children, Mrs Mary HALDINGER of this city and John M HUBER of Fond du Lac. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs Joseph MARX of this city and another who is still in the old country. The funeral was held from St. Joseph's church, Reverend H J EHR officiating, and interment following in the parish cemetery. The deceased was a member of St. Anne's society of St. Joseph's church and the society attended the funeral in a body.
