Wi Obits Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Wi/WoodObits/289 Surname: BOGUSLAWSKY, FALK ------------------------- Reca FALK Obit taken from the Centralia Enterprise & Tribune, Saturday, May 20, 1893 Death of Reca FALK Miss Reca FALK, for more than twenty years a resident of Grand Rapids, died last Wednesday morning, from the effects of a fourth stroke of paralysis. She was first taken with this unconquerable disease about a year and a half ago, and has been in a precarious condition ever since. Her third stroke occured last January and since that time she has been but half alive. >From Monday afternoon until the time of her death she was in terrible agony, which was only subdued with injections of morphine. Miss FALK was born in Turin, Prussia on August 12, 1853, being therefore in her fortieth year. She came to this country in 1870, and to Grand Rapids in 1873. About the year 1880 her sister, Mrs R BOGUSLAWSKY and herself, established themselves in the hotel and restaurant business, on a small scale, and by increasing business were enabled to enlarge their quarters and engage in the hotel business exclusively, their place receiving the name of the Central House. The remains of Miss Reca FALK were taken to Milwaukee on Thursday evening for burial. Joan M.
