A memorial service was held September 2, 2000 at Buchanan Funeral Home, Pittsville. Rev Olaf ANDERSEN officiated. Jennie was born Sep 8, 1905 in Terijoki, Finland to Edward and Anna (PUNKKINEN) MAATANEN. The family moved to Brantwood in 1906. Jennie lived as a foster child with Herman and Alma SIEBENAAR of Pittsville. She later moved to IL and bought a home in Lake Bluff, IL, residing there until Oct 3, 1998 when she moved to Marshfield to the Purdy. Jennie is survived by one sister, Laura ARNOLD of Tucson AZ; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
